At the Heart Foundation, we're looking for a creative, digitally savvy Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team and help tell stories that inspire, educate and engage Australians on their heart health journey.
In this exciting 12-month (Full Time, Max Term) parental leave opportunity, you'll play a key role in growing our social media presence, connecting with our online communities, creating engaging content, supporting influencer campaigns, and helping bring our brand to life across channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and more.
What you'll be doing
You'll work closely with our Senior Digital Marketing Lead and broader marketing team to:
- Manage and engage our social media communities across multiple platforms.
- Plan, create and execute engaging social content and monthly content calendars.
- Create graphics and social assets using tools such as Canva.
- Develop and edit short-form social video content, including Reels and TikToks.
- Support influencer partnerships and campaign activations.
- Assist with paid social campaigns, audience targeting and optimisation.
- Monitor performance, analyse results and identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and creative teams to deliver impactful campaigns.
About you
We're looking for someone who is equal parts creative thinker, content creator and community builder.
You'll bring:
- At least 2 years' experience in a social media, content or digital marketing role.
- Strong experience creating content across a range of social media platforms.
- Community management and moderation experience.
- Excellent copywriting skills and a strong eye for engaging digital content.
- Experience developing and executing content strategies and content calendars.
- Confidence using Canva and social media content creation tools.
- Experience with video editing platforms such as CapCut and Instagram Edits.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (desirable, but not essential).
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate with people across all levels of an organisation.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
